Collected in the Yellow Medium Sand of Middle Pliocene age or Piacenzian-Zanclean Pliocene 3.6-4.2. M.Y.A. Poggio all Staffam 4km SW of Poggibonsi, Tuscany , Italy. Wonderul large specimen matrix cemented inside shell. Pinholing on the raer but one of the nicest large cones we have seen.
