Aggregates Pit, Tampa Bay Area, Hillsborough County, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene2.6-2.8 M.Y.A. Collector P#2 Identified by Melanie Briskin Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil cowrie. This is a rare fossil shell with color and gloss. Destined for the serious fossil cowrie collector’s cabinet. Very difficult to obtain now.
