Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in 2020 Aggregates Pit, Tampa Bay Area, Hillsborough County, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collector P#2. Identified by Melanie Briskin Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil Conus. Usual rough lip. This is the “True Adversarius” many Florida Fossil Conus are improperly called Conus adversarius.
