Landsite being dug for a lack in Manatee County, Osprey, Florida. Zanclean Pliocene 3.6-4.45 M.Y.A. Collector:BH#3 Identified by Melanie Briskin. Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data on this fossil Carolinapecten. This is a pair imbedded in Matrix from the Sarasota Member of the Murdock Station Formation. Sure to be a highlight if displayed in a case or on a stand.
