Apac Pit, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.4-3.6 M.Y.A. Collected and identified by: Melanie Briskin. Also known as Bullata taylori. Very rare glossy specimen with some color and minor ground staining.   

An F+/nearly F++ Oliva (Strephona) incrassata 1 3/4” or 44.06mm. Lightfoot, 1786. Collected on tidal flats in sand live at low tide in 1987 San Felipe, Baja, West Mexico. Nice Protoconch and lip slightly rough Not a common color form.
