Shipping & Returns

    U.S. Customers we ship USPS First Class Mail up to 13oz. We then use Priority Mail & Parcel Select for packages 1LB and over. Express Mail is offered when the customer opts for that service. Media Mail is used for books, CD.s or DVD’s (Only books or those items with no advertisements inside.) We will also offer Ground UPS services when applicable on very heavy orders such as custom shell, coral or fossil mirrors. All packages automatically come with USPS tracking services. The customer will receive an e-mail notifying them of their shipment and the tracking information. Priority mail comes with some insurance in some cases of up to $50.00 included. We take great care in wrapping all our merchandise with tender loving care for safe transit anywhere.

     

    International Customers we ship First Class International for orders under 4 pounds as it is the most economical way to ship items abroad from the United States.During the Covic-19 Pandemic we do not ship packages with registered mail as it requires us to leave our office and go to the post office 30 minutes away. Priority mail international is used for orders over 4 pounds and for customers that require faster shipping at 7-30 days during the Covic-19 pandemic and sometimes longer and use to take 7-10 days only before the pandemic.First Class International can take as long 30 - 60 days or more during the Covic-19 Pandemic, which used to take two weeks.depending on the country it is shipped into and customs regulations and inspection in those countries.We have no control over packages once they leave the United States or if they are held up in customs or taken by customs overseas. We aren't liable for problems encountered with customs or customs declarations overseas. Customs is the responsibilty of the customer and customs requirements vary from country to country. We do work closely with our overseas customers to assure that they will receive their packages at the proper declared value without a problem. Packages from our company will never contain items declared in the CITES endangered species declaration. During Covic-19 Expect some extreme shipping and customs delays that unfortunately we cannot do anything about! Only one package in many years has been lost and was eventually found. We do a great job shipping as we have 50+ years of experience doing it overseas.

     

    We will provide 1- 2 Day Shipping & Handling after receipt of your order paid in full unless the order is placed on a weekend, holiday or a day we aren't open. Covic-19 or the Coronavirus has also slowed down the shipping process and we ask you for your patience during these times of the pandemic. We now have USPS pick-ups we have to schedule when are package loads are heavy. If you pay too much initially for shipping & handling on your order that is very rare so please don’t worry! We will find out the exact cost of shipping and handling when we wrap your package. If our web sites automated shipping calculations module was wrong we will provide you with a refund of any initial over payment you made back to your credit card, paypal account, etc. We aren’t in business to make money on shipping and thank you for ordering from us !!! Our shipping module though connected to our web site is connected directly to the USPS Mail Server for the best results. The system gives you one combined shipping cost for everything unlike EBAY and other sites. We wrap all of our items with great care and follow postal regulations with our boxes and packaging. If a shipping box is dented badly or squashed and items inside are broken from extremely rough handling, you need to take the package to your post office and show them or let your carrier know. If you purchase USPS insurance on the package to cover the full value, that is the only way to get your money back on the damaged items.Florida Seashells and Fossils LLC is not responsible for damages in poor handling of packages once out of our hands, since we follow stringent guidelines in wrapping and boxing our customers orders.

    Florida Seashells & Fossils offers a 100% Money Back Guarantee on all customer orders if you aren’t completely satisfied. U.S. customers have 30 days to return their items during the Coronavirus Pandemic if not completely satisfied. International customers can have 45-60 days to return their items or order. Upon receiving your returned merchandise in the same condition we sent it, we will issue you a refund within 24-72 hours after receiving the returns.We will provide a credit back to your credit card, money to your Paypal account or send you a check depending upon how you initially paid for your order.  If you pay by check your check must have cleared our bank before we can provide a check for the refund. The customer refund given will be for the individual items or full order plus the initial shipping charges.
