An F++ Chicoreus ramosus 2 ½” or 59.85mm. w/o Linne, 1758 Orange/Peach-Ultra-Rare. Diver collected at 20-30’ on dead coral. Laminusa, Sulu Seas Archipelago, Philippines. Another large fabulous orange dwarf shell that is just perfect and with operculum.   

Sinistrofulgur roseae 10 1/2" or 263.58mm. Petuch 1991-Ex-LG Extinct Collected in the Belle Glade Member of the Bermont in the 2000's Palm Beach Aggregates Pit, Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County Florida. Ionian Pleistocene 126,000-400,000 years old. Great EX-LG specimen with strong ribs and the usual lip chips and breaks as usual but fully intact.

Pleioptygma nancyae 4” or 102.85mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct “Ultra-Rare Giant” Collected in the Fruitville Member (Petuch Unit 4, Black Layer) of the Tamiami Formation in 2020. Aggregates Pit, Tampa Bay Area, Hillsborough County, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene2.6-3.0 M.Y.A. Collector P#2. F+/nearly F++ Perisserosa guttata azumai 2” or 49.51mm. Schilder, 1960 Trawled by Chinese Fishermen at 200 meters deep in the 1990’s South China Seas, Xiamen, China.  Probably Dead Taken.

Pseudadusta (Bithloa) kalafuti 2 7/8” or 73.04mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct.Collected in the Fruitville Member (Petuch Unit 3, Middle Bed) of the Tamiami Formation in Dec- February, 2023. Lake Dig Site with insitu specimens. Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A. Collector: MJ. Identified by Melanie Briskin. An F++ Chicoreus (Triplex) emilyae  1 7/8” or 49.17mm. Petuch,1987- “Peach/Orange” Trawled by Local fishermen in 100-150’ of water around sand and rocky bottom. Offshore of Punta Patuca, Honduras. These are hard to get now in the orange color. Some workers are calling this florifer. However, the difference in the fronds can be seen clearly show this species to be different from florifer. 

Carolinapecten murdockensis parawatsonensis n. ssp. 3 1/8” or 79.36mm. Waller, 2018 Collected in the Jupiter Waterway Member of the Murdock Formation in a lake being dug insitu in the lake wall in June 2021. North Port, Sarasota County, Florida. Zanclean Pliocene 4.4-5.3 M.Y.A. Collector: BH#3 Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil Pecten. This is a very rare complete pair of this hardly seen species.
