An F++ Barycypraea teulerei 1 5/8” or 40.72mm. Cazenavette, 1846 Collected on sand at low ride in 1995 Masirah Island, Oman.

Jaspidiconus susanae 20.36mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct Collected in the Fruitville Member (Upper Beds-Unit 3) of the Tamiami Formation in the 1970’s. Apac Pit, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.6-3.0 M.Y.A. Chips along the lip as usual but nice little specimen.

Fusinus watermani 3 3/8” or 83.22mm mm. M. Smith, 1936. Collected in the Belle Glade Member of the Bermont Formation in 1998 Star Ranch Quarry, Clewiston, Florida. Ionian Pleistocene 126,000-400,000 Very rare now. Always have chips and breaks of the tail.

An F+/ F++ Chama Lazarus 3 5/8” or 90.05mm. Linne, 1758-“LG White”Collected by local diver at 18-20 meters in 2009. Bohol Island, Philippines. Nice digitations.

Volutifusus typus 3 3/8" or 83.01mm. Conrad, 1863-Extinct  Collected in the Chowan River Formation in the 2000's Lee Creek Mine, Aurora, Beaufort County North Carolina. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A. Coll: Eric Prokopi some color and enamel left. Hard to obtain now.     

An near F++Murex  (Murex) tenuirostrum 4  5/8” or 114.19mm. w/o Lamarck,1822 Local Fishermen in nets from unknown depth. Central Visayas Region, Straits of Cebu between Bohol Island & Cebu Philippines.   

Calusaconus manueli 1 7/8” or 47.64mm. Petuch & Drolshagen 2011.-Extinct Rare Collected in the Golden Gate Member (Petuch Unit 7 Equivalent, Lower Beds) of the Tamiami Formation on 03/19/17. Aggregates Pit, Lee County, Bonita Springs, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collected and identified by: Melanie Briskin Spots visible and superb condition.

Messinian Miocene 5.3-7.3 M.Y.A. Coll: Melanie Briskin Shell cemented together by matrix but complete. A few nicks are usual. This is a really nice specimen.

Strombus evergladesensis 4 1/8” or 105.08mm. Petuch, 1991-Extinct Giant Rare Collected in the Belle Glade of the Bermont Formation on 10/16/16 Aggregates Pit, Bonita Springs, Florida. Calabrian Pleistocene 78,000-400,000 Years Old. This is a supergiant and is rarely offered so large.

Turbo dominicensis 1 1/8” or 28.53mm. Gabb1873-Extinct Collected in the Pinecrest Member of the Tamiami Formation on 04/16/16 SMR Aggregates Pit, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene.3.0-3.6 M.Y.A. Quite rare and has the normal chips on the lip.
