Very Rare with the normal rough lip.   

An F+ Spondylus regius 3 7/8” or 98.85mm. Linne, 1758 Collected in Tangle Nets at 70-80 meters in 1990’s Olango Island, Cebu, Philippines. Collector: Local Fishermen Collection of GH. Nice small specimen.   

An F+/Near F++Vexillum citrinum 2 3/4” or 70.62mm. Sowerby, 1828-Magnificent.Obtained from Local Fishermen from Unknown depth in the 2000’s. Toliara, Madagascar.

Lindaconus tuckeri 2 5/8” or 64.91mm. Petuch & Drolshagen, 2011-Extinct Collected in the Golden Gate Member (Upper Beds) of the Tamiami Formation, Aggregates Pit, Bonita Springs, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.6-3.0 M.Y.A. Coll: Melanie Briskin All markings visible under UV Light Outstanding quality specimen with usual minor lip chips. A must have in any collection!

Carolinapecten urbannaensis 2” or 50.68mm. Mansfield 1929-Extinct Collected in the Port Charlotte Member of the Bayshore Formation in 2007 Burnt Store Pit, Lee County, Cape Coral, Florida. Messinian Miocene.5.3-6.3 M.Y.A. Collected and identified by: Melanie Briskin. This pair like most is cemented together by matrix. Sorry these always have some chips in the valves but they are extremely rare.  

And F+/ F++ Chama Lazarus 3 3/4” or 95.11mm. Linne, 1758-“EX-LG White”Collected by local diver at 18-20 meters in 2009. Bohol Island, Philippines. Nice digitations.   

F+/F++Melongena corona f. johnstonei 3 ¾” or 95.90mm. w/o Clench & Turner, 1956 Collected Live in mud at low tide under the Goodland Bridge on May 21st, 2000 Goodland, Florida. Very limited numbers but this species can be found in Southwest, Florida.

An F++/NG Chicoreus florifer 2 7/8” or 73.32mm. Reeve,1846 Collected by a diver on hardpan bottom at 8-10’ in the 1990’s Berry Islands, Bahamas. Collector: Unknown. Operculum lost.

Mule Pen Quarry, Collier County, Eastern Naples, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A. Collector: To be furnished to the buyer of the fossil. Under UV light you can really see the pattern and some with the naked eye. This is a choice fossil.

An F++/NG Spondylus variegatus 2 ½” or 60.29mm. Schreibers, 1793-Superb Spines Collected by diver at 25-30’ in the 2000’s Bohol, Island, Philippines. Collector: Local Fishermen Collection of GH. Umbo to the end of Long Spine.   

A Fine Spondylus varians 5 ½” or 160.95mm. Sowerby, 1829 Collected by local divers at 20-30 meters. Bohol Island, Philippines. Collector: Local Diver. Collection of GH Top valve is slightly chipped in two spots. But this is a nice large heavy shell.
