A Fine Spondylus varians 5 ½” or 160.95mm. Sowerby, 1829 Collected by local divers at 20-30 meters. Bohol Island, Philippines. Collector: Local Diver. Collection of GH Top valve is slightly chipped in two spots. But this is a nice large heavy shell.   

An F+ Spondylus regius 3 7/8” or 98.85mm. Linne, 1758 Collected in Tangle Nets at 70-80 meters in 1990’s Olango Island, Cebu, Philippines. Collector: Local Fishermen Collection of GH. Nice small specimen.

A Fine Reddish/Purple Spondylus americanus 5 3/8” or 134.35mm. (umbo to longest spine) Hermann, 1781 Collected by Diver at between 135-150’ on Oil rig Pipeline. Gulf of Mexico Off Texas. Collector/Diver: Unknown Collection of GH. Really gorgeous color. Rare from oil rigs and hard to obtain

Calusacypraea globulina 2 5/8” or 66.83mm. Petuch, 1996-Extinct Mature Full Adult Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in 2020. Found in a lake being dug for a land site in 2021. Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A.
