Near-Gem to Gem Oliva (Oliva) caroliniana(2) 1 1/8” or 27.80mm & 1” or 25.99mm. Duclos, 1840. Diver Collected crawling in sand in relatively shallow water in 1980.Tulear, Madagascar Collector: Obtained from Local diver.   

Two F++ Supplanaxis nucleus (2) 13.53mm & 12.92mm. Bruguiere,1789 Found Live on rocks intertidally in 1988 Porlamar, Isla De Margarita, Venezuela. Collector: Unknown.

Aggregates Pit, Tampa Bay Area, Hillsborough County, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A. Collector: S#1. Identified by Melanie Briskin Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil cypraea.

A Fine Spondylus varians 5 ½” or 160.95mm. Sowerby, 1829 Collected by local divers at 20-30 meters. Bohol Island, Philippines. Collector: Local Diver. Collection of GH Top valve is slightly chipped in two spots. But this is a nice large heavy shell.   

An F+ Spondylus regius 3 7/8” or 98.85mm. Linne, 1758 Collected in Tangle Nets at 70-80 meters in 1990’s Olango Island, Cebu, Philippines. Collector: Local Fishermen Collection of GH. Nice small specimen.

A Fine Reddish/Purple Spondylus americanus 5 3/8” or 134.35mm. (umbo to longest spine) Hermann, 1781 Collected by Diver at between 135-150’ on Oil rig Pipeline. Gulf of Mexico Off Texas. Collector/Diver: Unknown Collection of GH. Really gorgeous color. Rare from oil rigs and hard to obtain
