Torcula subgrundifera 2 ¾” or 71.68mm. Dall, 1892-Extinct Miocene Rare Ex-LG. Collected in Farley Creek on 4/18/15 digging in sandy and mud banks. Hexaplex jameshoubricki 2” or 49.97mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct Outstanding Dwarf. Collected in the Fruitville Member (Petuch Unit 3, Middle Beds) of the Tamiami Formation in the 1980’s. Apac Pit, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.00 M.Y.A. Collector: To be furnished to the buyer of the fossils. This is one of the best we have offered.

An F++/NG Ceratostoma foliatum 2 1/2” or 60.13mm. w/o. Gmelin, 1791.Collected on and around Barnacles on rocks by diver at unknown depth in 2005.Tacoma Narrows, Washington State.   

An F++Murex ternispina 4 ¾” or 117.55mm. Lamarck, 1822-“Freak Spines”Local Fishermen in 2000. Luzon Island, Philippines.   

Chicoreus stephensae 2 1/2" or 61.47mm. Petuch, 1994.-“Superb” Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in the 1980’s Apac Pit, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collector: Melanie Briskin. This is the true specimen as it only has 5 varices on the main body whorl.   

A Near-Gem Trachycardium egmontianum 1 ¾” or 42.06mm. Shuttleworth, 1856.-“Albino” Collected at low tide at night on sand bar in Dec 1978.Sunset South Condos Beach, Lee County, Sanibel Island, Florida. Collected and identified by Melanie Briskin. No longer collected live on Sanibel since the live shelling ban of 1994.   

An F+ nearly/F++Megalobulimus popelairianus 5 ¾” or 146.97mm. Hyst, 1845.Collected in dense forest in 1990. Iquitos, Loreto, Peru. A very hard to get Landsnail now with growth mark only.   

An F+ Sinistrofulgur sinistrum 2 ¾” or 68.52mm. w/o Hollister, 1958.Collected at Low tide “Live” on sand bar at -1.0 Low tide in 1979.Sunset South Condo’s Sandbar, Lee County, Sanibel Island, Florida. Nice A small albino with the usual chipped siphonal canal.   

An F++/NG Muricanthus radix 2 1/8” or 54.21mm. w/o Gmelin, 1791-“Dwarf”Collected intertidally at 1-3’ on or around rocks in the 1990’s.Venado lsland, Panama.

Hyotissa meridionalis 5 ¾” or 146.29mm. Heilprin, 1886-Extinct “Gorgeous Beauty”Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in the 1980’s. Apac Pit, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collected and Identified by: Melanie Briskin. Perhaps the finest one color wise I ever found.    

A Near-Gem Amathina tricarinata 22.79mm. Linne, 1767 Diver at 5-10 meters in 2005. Negros, Philippines.   

An F++ Chicoreus ramosus 2 ½” or 59.85mm. w/o Linne, 1758 Orange/Peach-Ultra-Rare. Diver collected at 20-30’ on dead coral. Laminusa, Sulu Seas Archipelago, Philippines. Another large fabulous orange dwarf shell that is just perfect and with operculum.   

Near-Gem/Gem Chicoreus ramosus 1 ¾” or 43.86mm. w/o Linne, 1758 Orange/Peach-Ultra-Rare. Diver collected at 20-30’ on dead coral.Laminusa, Sulu Seas Archipelago, Philippines. A fabulous orange dwarf shell that is just perfect and with operculum.   

An F+ Trivia aperta 21.23mm. Swainson, 1822 Taken by collector on the beach following a storm in May 2005. Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.   

Pterorhytis fluviana 1 1/2” or 35.25mm. Dall, 1903-Extinct  Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in 1987. Quality Aggregates Pit Phase#9, Manatee County, Lorraine, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collector: to be given to the buyer of this fossil.
