A Road fill Quarry on the property of Okeelanta Sugar Company, West Of The Miami Canal, South Bay, Palm Beach County, Florida. Gelasian Pleistocene 2.2-2.4 M.Y.A. Cinctura rucksorum 3 3/8” or 84.75mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct Collected 35’ deep in gray clay mixed with other species Rucks Pit Member of the Nashua Formation on May 4th, 2002. Rucks Pit, Fort Drum Florida. The main pit with the shells is now defunct and a filled in lake.

A nice larger than normal black fossil of a very uncommon fossil shell.  Price= $105.00  

Sinistrofulgur yeehaw 10 3/8” or 261.53mm. Petuch, 1994-“Extinct Rare Laregest ever offered” Collected in the Middle Shell Beds of the Rucks Pit Member of the Nashua Formation in September 2023. Gelasian Pleistocene 2.0-2.2 M.Y.A. Viera, Brevard County, Florida. Collector: To be furnished to the buyer of the fossil. This is a very rare shell and is a giant for the species rarely this large.
